Solo Certification

Become a certified skydiver!

Our Solo Certification Program is an 11 jump program that culminates with a CSPA Solo Certification.

Your initiation to skydiving will first be done with a Tandem Skydive.

After the introductory tandem jump, you will attend a 4-5 hour first jump course. This course prepares you for your first solo jump where a Jumpmaster will open your parachute for you using a method called Instructor Assisted Deployment (IAD). This first solo jump is from 3,500 feet.

The program continues with subsequent IAD jumps, followed by jumps with an Instructor where you open your own parachute in freefall. The jumps gradually increase in altitude all the way up to 10,500 feet.

Each student progresses at their own pace, and is given individual instruction and coaching by a certified CSPA instructor prior to an after each subsequent jump, building skills as you go.

It is possible to finish the program in as little as 11 jumps. We usually require you to complete the program in less than 45 days, weather permitting.

Once you’ve earned your CSPA Solo Certification, you will be able to jump self-supervised.

Here is an overview of the program:
